CBD ISOLATE

CBD isolate is a pure, odorless and tasteless white crystalline powder that contains over 99% pure CBD. All the plant matter contained in the hemp plant are removed leaving only CBD behind. CBD Isolate offers the pure benefits of CBD without any trace of THC. Drug tests cannot test for CBD as it is a cannabinoid that is also naturally produced in our body based on certain foods and omega-3 fatty acids that we ingest.

How Can CBD Isolate be Used?

Sublingual: Place CBD isolate powder directly under your tongue is, by far, the easiest way to use isolate. Hold it there for about 60 seconds. Mucous membranes in your mouth will absorb the CBD compounds and deliver them directly to your bloodstream, bypassing the liver. Even though you make take the isolate alone, the isolate works best when diluted with a safe, ingestible carrier oil such as hemp seed oil, olive oil and MCT oil. Isolate needs to bond to an oil for maximum body absorption.

Oil Infusion: CBD Isolate can be infused into a carrier oil of your choice (MCT, Olive, Grapeseed, Hemp Seed). You can then take it sublingually based on the oil that you choose. Make sure the oil is food grade and safe to ingest. Sublingual use absorbs directly into the bloodstream bypassing the liver.

Topical Oil: You can mix CBD into your existing creams or oils and use it topically on the skin. Some of our favorite and beneficial carrier oils are coconut oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil and hempseed oil. The skin naturally has a protective barrier so a generous amount needs to be applied.

Mix it in Your Food and/or Drinks: Another way to use CBD isolate is by adding it to your favorite food or drinks. Coffee, tea, juice, smoothie, sprinkle it into food, etc. The choice is yours. This method is ingestion which goes through the liver and gets processed. Some milligrams are lost with ingestion methods. CBD can decrease the efficiency of other medications that are also processed by the liver. CBD, turmeric, grapefruit and kale have similar reactions in the liver.

CBD has a boiling point of approximately 320-350 degrees Fahrenheit. Exceeding this temperature will degrade the potency and eliminate the benefits. Keep this in mind if you are cooking or baking with it.

Vaping: Vaping allows the compounds to bypass the digestive tract and reach the bloodstream quicker via the lungs. Vaporization point is around 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit. It can be vaped or dabbed using a special vape pen or bubbler. Although you can vape isolate, to eliminate inhaling anything, putting it directly under your tongue is still easier and more effective.

Smoking: You can add CBD Isolate to an existing smokable (joint) to boost the CBD potency if required. This method goes through the lungs as well.

How to Measure CBD Isolate For Use

The best and most precise way to measure CBD Isolate is to use a gram (kitchen/jewelry) scale. Another way is to use milligram laboratory scoops. Weight will always be more precise. You just need a scale that can detect small levels of weight.

99% of CBD isolate equates to over 990mg of CBD. One gram is equal to 1000 milligrams.

Based on the amount of CBD (milligrams) one desires, that will determine how much you weigh to use.

Examples: 10mg = 0.01g 20mg=0.02g 50mg= 0.05g 200mg=.20g 500mg=0.50g

How Much CBD Isolate Do I Need?

Based on your individual preference, CBD intake will be different for everyone. There really is no recommended or required amount to take. Some sources say to use 1-5mg CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight. It all really depends on the person and more or less can be adjusted accordingly based on relief levels and individual needs.
